As the summer sun turns up the heat, we know that staying cool and calm can be a challenge. At Careful Heart Company, your well-being is our priority, so we’ve crafted some mindful cooling practices to help you beat the heat and keep your self-care game strong.

 

1. Take a Refreshing Cold Shower: Start your day with a cold or cool shower to invigorate your senses and lower your body temperature. Not only will it leave you feeling refreshed, but it also helps to tighten pores and reduce skin inflammation.

3. Practice Deep Breathing: Heat can sometimes make us feel stressed or irritable. Counteract this with deep breathing exercises that calm the mind and body. Try this: inhale deeply for 4 seconds, hold for 7, and exhale slowly for 8. Repeat until you feel your body relax.

 

4. Use Cooling Body Products: Enhance your self-care routine with products designed to cool and hydrate. Look for ingredients like aloe, mint, and cucumber to keep your skin feeling fresh.
